Director of Nursing
Martha is the Director of Nursing at the Green House. She has nearly 30 years of nursing experience, most recently as a school nurse at Big Horn School. She has degrees in Technical Communication from the University of Minnesota and nursing from Regis University in Denver. She and her husband are recent empty-nesters, with both of their boys in college; however loneliness is not an option with their lap-dog Great Dane in the house. Families and visitors are always welcome in her office to share any concerns, questions, or wonderful stories.
Guide and Education Coordinator
Lynnea is the Guide and Education Coordinator for Green House Living for Sheridan. Hailing originally from Minneapolis, MN she earned her B.A. in Human Resource Management from the University of Wisconsin. She has been a resident of Sheridan for the past few years and has fallen in love with the sites and sounds of this beautiful state. Since her arrival to Sheridan she has always had a keen interest in being a part of Green House Living for Sheridan. She started by volunteering here at the Green House to finally earning the opportunity of our first Guide! She hopes to make a difference in the Elders’ lives and help the Shahbazim continue to succeed in all of their dedicated work.
Michelle joined the Green House team in December 2014, as our Financial Manager. Prior to coming on board she worked for Westview Healthcare Center as the Financial Manager. Michelle and her two boys are Sheridan natives. She earned her Bachelor’s in Accounting and a Associate’s in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2010. Michelle enjoys helping the Elders and their families through the financial aspects of skilled nursing.
Human Resource Manager
Chris works as the Human Resource Manager at Green House Living for Sheridan. Raised in Sheridan and graduating here in 1989, he has recently returned to the Sheridan area after a rewarding 20-year career in the United States Air Force. Chris is thrilled to be back in Sheridan with his wife Jordan, their two sons Brayden and Austin and their dog Rosie. He is grateful to be an integral part of such a caring and distinguishing organization. He is fully committed to ensuring the quality, welfare, safety, and expertise of every staff member employed with Green House Living for Sheridan.
Social Services Coordinator
Born and raised in Sheridan, Bessie received her BSSW from the University of Wyoming. She has worked with the developmentally delayed population, people with traumatic brain injuries, and dementia. Bessie specializes in working with families and Elders during the transition into long-term care and is knowledgeable about dementia-related illnesses. One of the best parts about her job at the Green House is listening to Elders’ stories, and Bessie welcomes families anytime.
Dietary Manager & Quality Assurance Coordinator
Sirena is the Dietary Manager for Green House Living for Sheridan. She began working with Green House Living for Sheridan as a Shahbaz. She has always had an interest and aptitude in dietary matters and was recently chosen to be the Dietary Manager. She has since enrolled in a Dietary Manager course with the University of North Dakota and is expected to graduate in September 2016. Sirena enjoys her new position and the added challenges it presents. She enjoys working with the Elders and helping them to maintain an active, caring and healthy lifestyle.
Director of Maintenance
After completing his first year at GHLS as a maintenance technician, Jarrett is now the Maintenance Director. As a lifelong Sheridan native, Jarrett has always felt closely-tied to the Bighorns and the Sheridan community. He attended Sheridan College, as well as Black Hills State University, where he earned a B.S. in Mass Communication and Business. Jarrett spent 8 seasons with the U.S. Forest Service and has experience in a variety of fields. He appreciates the close-knit group and family atmosphere of GHLS, and being able to do something different every day.
Julie has been with Green House Living for Sheridan since the first round of staff hires in December of 2011. She was born and raised on a ranch east of Sheridan and holds a degree as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. She is “Very Thankful” to be a part of enabling our Elders to live dignified and fulfilling lives through meaningful activities and engagement. Julie loves spending her free-time with her grandson Parker.
