Kat is an instructor of nursing at Sheridan College and has been a nurse for 10 years, spending most of that time in critical care in which she is nationally certified (CCRN). Her education consists of a Bachelor of Art in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Auburn University, and she is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Nursing Education from the University of Wyoming. Nursing has presented many opportunities for Kat to be thoroughly embedded in Sheridan’s population and she is enthusiastic about supporting the community. She enjoys outdoor activities such as cross-country skiing, cycling, and hiking the Big Horns!
