Tommi is a lifelong Sheridan resident who is passionate about quality healthcare and patient experiences. She is eager to bring her experience in these areas to the Green House board!
Having graduated from Sheridan College in 2014 with her associate degree in nursing, she began working at Sheridan Memorial Hospital as a Registered Nurse. Quickly finding oncology as a specialty of interest, Tommi began working as a nurse at Welch Cancer Center, which led her to earn her national certification as an oncology nurse through the Oncology Nursing Corporation. She continued her studies and obtained her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Wyoming in 2016.
In 2017, she discovered her interest in healthcare leadership and accepted a position as the manager of Welch Cancer Center. Knowing healthcare administration provided the opportunity to make a positive impact in the overall quality of care and ensure excellent patient experiences, she obtained her Masters of Business Administration and Masters of Science in Nursing Dual Degree with a focus in Healthcare Administration from the University of Mary in December 2019. Recognized as the Wyoming Nurses Association Northeast New Nurse of the Future in 2018, Tommi was credited as a nurse who focuses on advocating and serving patients with exceptional patient-centered care.
In her free time, she enjoys camping, four wheeling and exploring in the Bighorns with her husband, Grant, son, Jack, and their golden retriever, Murphy.
