Tyler became involved with the Green House in 2017, almost two years after moving to beautiful Sheridan. He moved to Sheridan from Tucson, Arizona, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences and his Master of Business Administration.
Tyler brings over 15 years of healthcare experience to the Board. He started out as a teenager (14-year-old to be exact), scrubbing the floors of his hometown hospital in Havre, MT, as an environmental services aide after school. Training and education evolved into more direct patient care, which he was passionate about. He worked as an emergency room technician, mental health aid, and CNA in a long-term nursing facility, all while going to school. His education and experience brought him to Sheridan Memorial Hospital, where he works as the Manager of Outpatient Services. Tyler finds the administrative, operational side of healthcare to be just as rewarding and fulfilling as caring for patients directly, and he believes that this area is where he can make the most impact with his skills and knowledge.
Tyler’s other passions include anything that encircles him with family and friends: fly fishing, camping, racing cars with his father, spending time with his wife and their two dogs, Mocha and Winston, and collecting vintage cars (the latter described as purely fantasy by his wife until they get a bigger house). Tyler looks forward to serving the community and the Board, and—most importantly—safeguarding a comfortable and honorable location for our community’s elders to reside for many years to come.
